With a thorough interior renovation, Antwerp Sportpaleis definitively embraced its future as a music venue starting in 2011.

• 2011: roof renovation, installation of exterior stairs, balcony adjustments
• 2012: installation of a new main grandstand
• 2013: installation of a permanent main grandstand

Thanks to Betesco, the prefabricated concrete supplier, the venue managed to enhance visitor comfort and safety while increasing capacity from 18,400 to 23,359 seats. A remarkable achievement in which Betesco manufactured all grandstand elements, beams, columns, walls, and stairs at record speed. Given the shape of the Sportpaleis, most elements were unique.
